Terms of use
Effective 18 April 2026 · Last updated 28 August 2026 · Canonical domain framepad.app
These terms govern your use of FramePad at https://framepad.app, including the studio, the guides, and related pages. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Questions: hello@framepad.app.
The service
FramePad is free software that runs in your browser. It previews reconstructions of third-party interfaces and can crop, pad, and export short-form video or stills locally. Overlay measurements are best-effort reconstructions. Platform owners can change chrome without notice. Always confirm a final cut on the destination device before you spend media budget.
License to your media
You retain all rights to files you process. Because processing is local, we never receive a license to those files. You are responsible for having the rights to crop, overlay, and export whatever you drop into the studio, and for complying with the terms of the destination platforms.
Acceptable use
Do not use FramePad to conceal illegal content, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to misrepresent another person’s work. Do not attempt to overload public CDNs that serve optional WASM cores. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service for others. Guides may be quoted with attribution; wholesale copying of the measurement tables as your own product is not permitted.
No warranty
The studio and the guides are provided “as is.” Pixel-accurate is a design goal, not a guarantee that a specific phone build, A/B test, or accessibility font size will match. WebAssembly export depends on your browser. If FFmpeg cannot load, use PNG or the canvas recorder. We are not liable for lost media spend, failed campaigns, or incidental damages, except where a law in your country says we cannot exclude that liability.
Our intellectual property
The FramePad name, the studio code, the overlay reconstructions as published here, and the text of the guides are original to this site. You may use the free studio for your own projects. You may not republish the app as your own product.
Advertising
The site may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, subject to those vendors’ terms. Ads are not an endorsement. We will not place ads so they mimic platform chrome inside the studio canvas. Cookie and opt-out details are in the privacy policy.
Trademarks
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, and X are trademarks of their owners. FramePad is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Overlays are independent reconstructions for measurement.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains that media is not uploaded and that analytics measures page views. Those terms are part of your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
