Editorial policy
Effective 28 August 2026
FramePad publishes two kinds of pages: tools that run in the browser, and guides that explain the measurements behind those tools. Both are original to this site. We do not copy platform help centres. We do not generate interchangeable doorway pages that only swap a brand name.
Sources
Overlay geometry comes from screenshots of live apps on named devices, listed on the about and contact pages. When we cite a percentage, it is that reconstruction, not an official SDK value. Official specs change and often describe ads or desktop, not the consumer For You player.
Corrections
If chrome has moved, email hello@framepad.app with the phone, OS, app version, and a screenshot that does not contain private media. We will re-shoot and update the overlay and the revision log. We do not ask you to upload the video to FramePad; the app cannot receive it.
Independence
FramePad is not paid by the platforms it measures. Guides do not contain affiliate links. Tool pages may later show third-party display advertising if the site is accepted into a publisher network; that is not an endorsement of the advertised product. Ads, if any, will not be placed in a way that mimics platform chrome inside the studio canvas.
Trademarks
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, and X are trademarks of their owners. Use of those names is identification, not affiliation. Overlays are independent reconstructions.
